What Is Soldier Ride?
Soldier Ride is a WWP initiative that provides rehabilitative cycling opportunities across the country to help wounded warriors restore their physical and emotional well- being. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for the public to participate in a cycling event that honors the men and women of our military who sacrificed so much. Soldier Ride offers the public a chance to ride alongside as our warriors promote their positive message of recovery. The event raises funds for WWP programs and initiatives that ensure this generation of wounded warriors is the most successful, well- adjusted generation of wounded warriors in our nation’s history.

If you cannot ride or volunteer we still have a very important roll that you can play in this event. We are asking for hundreds of supporters to line the Bayshore (or other parts of the route) and wave flags, hold banners and cheer as our warriors and the community riders pass by. This is an awesome way to come out and show your support. Get a group together from your neighborhood, office, church, etc. and make sure WWP and the riders know that the Tampa Bay area is here for them.
T.A.M.P.A. members will be gathering in front of the Colonnade Restaurant on Bayshore Blvd. and invite you to join us there along with the Lutz Patriots and Troop Support Alliance.
The Bayshore Patriots will be at the corner of Bay to Bay and Bayshore and will also be waving flags in support.
