Just wanted to say thank you for the package I received from you guys recently here in Afghanistan. My guys and myself appreciate the support. Fortunately, I had the pleasure earlier in the deployment to work with not only Army, but Navy and Marines as well. Especially had a great time with the MARSOB Team out west and unfortunately lost 2 brave and distinguished men. RIP Hospital Corpsman Petty Officer 1st Class Darrel Enos and Marine Staff Sergeant Gregory Copes. It was an honor and a pleasure to have met them. Semper Fi

Yesterday I ran to honor the memory of my uncle, Hunter Dunn, who served during WWII. As runner # 401, I also honored LCpl. Scott E. Dougherty. Before the opening ceremony, I stopped to photograph twins in a double stroller. When I joked to the twins'mom about "double trouble," someone said , "He's got Scott." (the twins' daddy). We all wept together. Thanks.

What a moving experiencing seeing all the young faces on the rows and rows of crosses. So many have experienced the ultimate sacrifice so we can continue to live in a free country. America don't ever forget these fallen heroes

Today I participated in the 10K race, and I have to admit I didn't think there would be that big of a turn out...I was definitely wrong! As aN AF veteran I was honored and extremely moved by the support today. My heart was heavy for the golden families but I was happy to show them that their loved one will never be forgotten. Thank you for their service, and sacrifice. God bless.

I was proud to run the 10k race today. My father was a Marine and is a disable Vietnam Vet. The support for this race was absolutely incredible. I will definitely run again in future years. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the fallen and their families.
