Our Disney World Vacation was Almost Ruined
My little family consists of my wonderful husband, two daughters and myself. We try to spend at least one week each summer doing something we all enjoy, making family memories. We started planning this year’s summer vacation eighteen months ago. All of us are excited because we’re going to Disney World. Yes, the magical place where every kid, and most adults, dreams of going. We have everything mapped out from departure to return and expect this to be the best family vacation yet. We even purchased a new van and found very cheap car insurance no deposit required. Well, up until a few unexpected turns of events almost crushed that dream.
It was the end of the school year and we were out celebrating the good grades our girls received during the semester. We took them to a trampoline park and for pizza afterwards. We go to this place all the time, as it’s our girls favorite spot and we always get free tokens during visits and discounts for future visits. Therefore, we love it too. This particular evening was relatively crowded, we assumed it to be the end of school crowd. While inside, some of the older teens were horse playing on one of the trampoline sets. Out of concern, we removed our girls from the area and alerted employees that someone may get hurt. They cleared the area of those engaging in unsafe behavior and told us we could return to the area. Our girls were grateful because this is their favorite part of the park.
Once they were back and playing, all seemed to be okay when out of nowhere, this really tall teenager lunged into the trampoline bar, striking our nine-year old in the head. It all happened so fast and I couldn’t move but my husband sprung to his feet and was by her side in seconds. This frightened our seven-year-old of course, and there was blood running from my little girl’s head. We had no idea how bad it was but all I knew is that my baby had been hurt. Employees rushed over but we insisted on taking her to the ER immediately and didn’t bother to sort out miniscule details.
Our little girl went through a series of test and finally the doctor came in to tell us that everything would be okay. He said she had no internal bleeding or bruising and the only thing he prescribed was an ice compress, a good night’s rest and a great time at Disney World next week. Needless to say, we were primarily concerned with her well-being but our summer vacation was a blast and all the kids talk about now.
Hey girls! Been a while. A friend of my recently had a poor experience at a nail salon so I decided to share some tips about finding a good nail salon, and about my recent experiences.
First things first
Nail care is as important as any kind of body care such as dental care etc. Our nails can indicate our state of health. In fact, many doctors insist on looking at the nails first before even checking the pulse. Under such circumstances, it pays to have a wonderful and healthy set of nails. When it comes to nail care, cutting and trimming them becomes inevitable. You have two options before you. You can do it either yourself or go to a nail salon for treatment. If you ask me, I would always prefer a nail salon. There are many reasons for this. I shall highlight some of them for you.
I admire the professional services of the nail shop near me, which I found by the way on this website: www.salonscompare.com. The Vietnamese and the Korean girls may not have Phd’s in rocket science, but they have it in something even better; nail care! When it comes to offering manicure services, no one can beat them. Customer satisfaction is foremost on their minds. I can say this with confidence because I have experienced the same.
One more thing I enjoy at the nail salon near me is the extreme pampering I receive. The staff takes great pleasure in offering every customer something extra every time they patronize their services.
I get to choose my favorite nail polish and other nail art designs from a wide range on display. I have even tried out the glittering and jewelled nail art designs. They look stunningly beautiful.
Finding a good local nail salon
I have the experience to guide you about the things one should expect in a nail salon. The main thing you should look for is the hygiene aspect. Nail salons have to obtain the requisite licenses to operate in the area. The controlling authorities consider every aspect before issuing the licenses. I always make it a point to check the license and confirm whether it is in force. You can find the copy of the license framed on the walls of the salon.
I also ensure that the nail technicians use sterilized instruments when attending to me. It is mandatory on their part to do so after using the instruments on a particular client.
You should never cut your cuticles at a nail salon. The licensed nail salons discourage the cutting of cuticles. This can cause infections.
Hope you enjoyed my tips on finding a great nail salon near you!
Hey guys and girls!
I’m looking for some cheap auto insurance. Found this interesting site: http://www.autoinsurancemonkey.com. They have an interesting post on auto insurance “Who has the cheapest auto insurance?”
From what I understanding reading the article above is that there is no such thing has cheapest auto insurance. Prices are decided by way too many factors like where you live, and your car, driving record and more.
But there’s one thing they don’t account for… Military service.
If you or your spouse is or was in the military you may be eligible for some pretty big discounts you’re not aware of.
A lot of the insurance quotes websites I found didn’t factor that in, you had to call in and talk with an agent.
Fortunately for me I had a boring monday with nothing better to do. So after 2 hours of calling as many auto insurance companies as I could I was able to snag an awesome deal on some full coverage car insurance.
Overall I was able to save 20% on auto insurance. Not bad for 2 hours work!
Now I just need to make the some calls for my and my husbands life insurance. Sighhh, maybe next month lol.
Calling in multiple insurance companies is not fun. I really want someone to think of a better way to compare insurance rates. The site above is great, but is to generic for some people. Guess it feels good to be in the 1% in something. Even if it means I’m a pain in the butt customer!
Anyway I really didn’t want my first post to be moaning about car insurance, unfortunately this is life!
Hope you guy’s stick around for more. Hopefully I’ll have something more fun to share.
