An absolutely amazing 2 day event with over 3,000 participants, spectators and volunteers. Hurricane Isaac stayed far enough away to allow us to hold the event, but close enough to give us some great overcast skies which helped with keeping the heat away.

I know that our Gold Star Families will especially find this touching beyond words!!! How amazing to know that our Marines stationed in Afghanistan were running 'with us' during the event. We are truly reaching ALL over the world: Shadow Run - Will be running 'shadow run' from US Forces - Afghanistan HQ, Kabul, Afghanistan at 1730 AFG local = 0900 Tampa local time.
